1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Craft Canvas Clothing website and your purchase of any products from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full.

Craft Canvas Clothing is operated as a sole proprietorship registered in Budapest, Hungary. Contact: info@craftcanvas-clothing.com

2. Products & Custom Orders

All products offered by Craft Canvas Clothing are custom-made craft canvas cloth items, handcrafted to your individual specifications. As such:

  • Each item is unique and may have slight natural variations inherent to handmade goods.
  • Colours displayed on your screen may differ slightly from actual fabric due to monitor settings.
  • Product images are representative examples; your finished item reflects your specific order.

3. Ordering Process

An order is placed when you submit your order form and pay the required 50% deposit. We will send you an order confirmation by email, constituting a binding contract subject to these Terms.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing error or suspected fraud. Any payment made will be refunded in full in such cases.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are displayed in the currency shown on our website, inclusive of VAT where applicable.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at order confirmation.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due before shipment.
  • We accept credit and debit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
  • Prices may change at any time; changes do not affect already-confirmed orders.

5. Production & Delivery

Production time is 2–4 weeks from receipt of deposit and confirmed specifications. We ship worldwide; post-dispatch delivery timelines, customs responsibilities, and carrier details are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Import duties and taxes for international orders are the customer’s responsibility.

6. Cancellations & Returns

Cancellations and returns are governed by our Deposit Policy and Return Policy, which form part of these Terms. In summary:

  • Cancellation before production: deposit refunded minus processing fees.
  • Cancellation after production begins: deposit is forfeited.
  • Returns accepted only for defective or incorrectly produced items.
  • The EU right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made goods (Art. 16(c), Directive 2011/83/EU).

7. Intellectual Property

All website content — including images, text, logos, and designs — is the property of Craft Canvas Clothing or its licensors, protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or use our content without prior written permission.

By submitting artwork or images as part of your order, you confirm you own or have rights to use it and grant us a limited licence to reproduce it solely to fulfil your order.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Craft Canvas Clothing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our products or services, including loss of profit or business opportunity.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant order. Nothing herein limits liability for negligence, fraud, or where limitation is otherwise prohibited by law.

9. Consumer Rights (EU Customers)

If you are an EU consumer, you benefit from mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract, including rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Sale of Goods Directive (2019/771/EU). Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Hungarian courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
